St. Andrew Parish is excited to announce that we are a partner in a new community outreach program for Calumet City Youth.

C.C.R.E.W. (Calumet City Resource and Education Workshop) is an initiative with the Mayor of Calumet City  Michelle Markiewicz Qualkinbush, the Calumet City Police and  the Fire Departments.  With the support of local businesses and other organizations, C.C.R.E.W. will provide a structured after school program, giving young people from 1st grade and up a safe and productive place to learn and play after school.

Participants will be provided with an after school snack, quiet time for homework and educational programs, and physical activity time.  The focus of C.C.R.E.W. is to provide students with guidance and encouragement to develop age appropriate educational and life skills.

The program is in session on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday afternoons, from 4:00 until 7:00 in the St. Andrew Gym (Freeland Avenue entrance).

Come on out and check out the fun!
