 PREP – A safe  environment

Protecting our children has been and will always be, a top priority for our Religious Education Program (PREP). In mid December, 2011, we welcomed Ms. Mayra Flores, Safe Enviornment Coordinator for the Archdiocese of Chicago. Her office ensures compliance with the USCCB Charter for the Protection of Children and Young People. The Charter sets forth that we have clear and well publicized standards of behaviors and boundaries, maintain safe environment programs for children and adults, and evaluate the backgrounds of all who have contact with children. After discussions and review of our policies and procedures, no major concerns were noted. St. Andrew’s PREP is a Safe Environment.

St. Andrew’s PREP Standards – Protecting and Caring for our Students and the Archdiocese Charter are available for review in the School and in the Priest’s Sacristy in our church.
